Face Symmetry Test

Compare mirrored landmarks in six facial zones along a photo-derived center line. The test runs in your browser and your photo is not uploaded.

How is facial symmetry measured?

The tool draws an image-plane axis from the upper forehead to the chin, reflects paired MediaPipe landmarks across it and measures the normalized deviation in the brows, eyes, nose, cheeks, mouth and jaw.

Is facial symmetry a beauty or health score?

No. Natural faces are not perfectly symmetrical, and one photograph cannot define appearance or health. The score is an educational comparison of selected two-dimensional points, not a medical or objective beauty judgment.

Why does camera angle matter?

Even a small head turn or tilt changes where features appear in a flat photo. Use a level, front-facing image with a relaxed expression and even lighting. Hair, occlusion and lens distortion can also affect the result.
